Wanted Dead or Alive: Texas Charley’s Last Christmas Presented by The Grand County Characters
Beware of Texas Charley's return to Grand County at the Cozens Ranch Museum in Fraser and the Pioneer Village Museum in Hot Sulphur Springs on December 10 and December 11 respectively. Join the Grand County Historical Association and the Grand County Characters as they present the third annual Pioneer Christmas program, which features the living history program Wanted Dead or Alive: Texas Charley's Last Christmas. Don't miss this unique presentation of Grand County's most famous 19th century gunslinger as he makes his way from Cozens Ranch Museum on Friday night to the Pioneer Village Museum on Saturday night. The programs include Christmas music, refreshments and, of course, a fun, historical performance based on the factual events that led to Texas Charley's Last Christmas in Hot Sulphur Springs in December of 1884. Attend one or both of these exciting presentations. The evenings will be full of fun, frolic and fabulous entertainment. Enjoy these delightful Christmas programs from 6pm to 8pm on both Friday night, Dec. 10 at Cozens and at the same time at the Pioneer Village Museum in Hot Sulphur Springs on Saturday night, Dec. 11. The Grand County Characters performance will be once at 6:30 PM at Cozens. There will be two performances at the Pioneer Museum one at 6:15 and one at 7:15 PM. Call 970-725-3939 for more details and to reserve a performance time. The event is free to the public.
